FAQ / Straightforward answers
Useful answers before you make a plan.
A few things teams often want to understand before deciding how to work together.
Frequently asked questions
What kinds of organisations do you work with?
We work with care providers, public-health organisations, health insurers, research networks and regulated wellbeing services. The shared thread is a public-facing or member-facing digital service where clarity, access and dependable delivery matter.
How do we know if a project is a good fit?
A first conversation is a practical way to compare the service need, constraints and timing. We can help with a focused design or accessibility engagement as well as broader platform work. If another specialist is a better fit, we will say so.
How long does an engagement take?
The timeline depends on the number of journeys, stakeholders, systems and decisions involved. A discovery or audit may be scoped as a shorter piece of work; multi-site platforms need phased planning. We agree scope and decision points before work begins rather than offering one fixed timeline.
How do you test accessibility?
We combine accessible design and code review with keyboard testing, screen-reader testing and, where appropriate, sessions with people who use assistive technology. Automated checks can help find some issues but are not a substitute for evaluation by people.
Can you work with a legacy platform?
Yes. We begin with the current service, technical boundaries and operational needs. Depending on what we find, we can recommend incremental improvement, integration, a new layer around existing tools or a more substantial change. We do not assume a replacement is necessary.
What do you mean by interoperability?
We consider how service experiences, information flows and platform integrations relate to your existing systems. The right approach depends on your architecture, data access, governance and partner responsibilities. We work with your technical and information-governance teams to clarify those dependencies.
Who owns content after launch?
Content ownership and review responsibilities should be agreed with the service team. We can provide plain-language standards, reusable content models, roles and review workflows so information can be kept current by the people who understand the service.
How do you collaborate on security?
We work alongside your security and technology leads, document assumptions and discuss access, data flows, environments and operational boundaries. Security controls depend on the systems and contract in scope; we do not claim a certification or guarantee on this site.
Can you support multilingual experiences?
Yes. We plan content structure, language expansion, translation review and interface patterns with local teams. We encourage teams to account for differences in service rules and meaning, not just translate words at the end.
What support arrangements are available?
Support and response expectations are defined for each engagement or service agreement. Current clients can review the support guidance and use the escalation route established in their project handover.
Can you work within a procurement process?
We can provide clear scope descriptions, delivery assumptions, team responsibilities and work products to support procurement conversations. Any formal requirements, contract terms and selection process remain specific to your organisation.
